The Dolan-Jenks 19th century Barn – moved from Green River – was reassembled on the grounds of the Williamstown Historical Museum.
Using the 160 year old hand-hewn timbers, David Babcock, of Babcock Bros Restoration, used his barn restoration skills to construct the classic post and beam structure.
In fact, some of the 40 foot timbers date from 1790.
House of Strangers is a book written by Oscar H. Greene, an African American man who grew up in Williamstown during the 1930s. The book is an account of his childhood experiences.
